WHO IS THIS FOR?

Footy players from 9yrs up to Seniors.  This 90-day (or 12-Week) training program caters to both Beginners and Advanced players.  We can do this because we have included access to two different strength training programs - a weight-based program using the Triphasic method for Advanced players and a bodyweight strength program for Beginners. 

 

BEGINNERS The Beginners strength program is designed for those players that don't have access to weights or are beginners to strength training. 

ADVANCED Advanced players have access to a strength training program that utelises the triphasic training method (one of the quickest ways to develop strength and power for speed).

Players spend 90% of a game in the acceleration phase so it makes sense that by improving your speed you will be improving your game.

 

Speed training does not form part of regular footy training.  Most professional players are employing the services of a dedicated Speed Coach, in addition to their club training so they can get the edge over their competitors.

Component 1: 12-WEEK SPEED TRAINING PROGRAM 

This proven program has been tested on thousands of rugby players and includes instruction in all the key skills to speed.  This is easy to follow and clearly explained with 5 training programs in the exact exercise order, reps and sets so all you need to do is follow the program.  

 

These programs include:

Speed Program – Improve your technique, coordination, agility, and explosive speed off the mark

Technique Program - Sprint like a Pro. Drills & exercises to improve your speed technique 

Strength Program – Strong players are fast players and tackle harder as well. Improve your lower body & core strength. This is a weight-based program (You've also got access to the Beginners bodyweight program).

Component 2: THE THEORY OF SPEED

This detailed manual will explain everything you need to know about Rugby Speed in an easy-to-understand format so that you can become a speed expert over the next 90 days with confidence and peace of mind.

You will learn:

  • The 4 points to the technique of acceleration that will turn you into an explosive rugby player

  • How to perform a warm-up that will have you reacting lightning sharp as soon as the referee blows the whistle for kick-off

  • How to wake up your muscles so that they do the job they are meant to on the field

  • Why power is one of the keys to explosive speed and how to develop power with just your bodyweight

  • How to develop strength for rugby speed with just your bodyweight or with weights

  • The exact stretching exercises you need to perform before and after training and a game to perform at the best of your ability and of course to be explosively fast 

  • This book has an independent value of $35.

Component 3:  HOW TO TEST MANUAL
You don’t know if you are improving unless you are testing.

This manual contains a series of drills to perform before, during and after the 90-day program to test your progress.  We've also included a video tutorial for each test to ensure that you are on the right track.

Component 4:  12-WEEK BODYWEIGHT TRAINING PROGRAM

​Component 5:  TUTORIAL VIDEO LIBRARY
