WHICH PROGRAM IS BEST FOR ME?
If you've been playing rugby for 3+years with 1+year experience in weight training, we recommend you choose 90 Days To Explosive Rugby Speed - this is because the strength training component utilises the triphasic training method (one of the quickest ways to develop strength and power for speed).
Note: This program does not include agility training. If you already have a dedicated strength program, choose the 4-Week Speed +Agility program, and substitute your current strength program for the strength component in the book, but follow the other programs included (Speed, Power, Agility, Core) to improve your Speed and Agility.
If you currently play club footy but have no experience in weight training. From 9years upwards.
We recommend the 4-Week Speed +Agility program - this is because the program utilises bodyweight only to develop foundation strength levels. You can move on to the 12-Week (90 Day) program after this.
This program covers speed, agility, power, strength, flexibility, muscle activation and core strength.
